Tryon Theatre Film Society

The Tryon Film Society is a division of the Tryon Theatre. Now in its sixteenth year of operation the film society brings to the local area the finest in small release art speciality films. These include documentaries, foreign films and nonmainstream releases. The Society films are open to the general public at regular admission price and are shown on the second and fourth Mondays and Tuesday of each month. Films are selected by society members by ballots sent at various times throughout the year. Memberships cost $12 per year per person and can be obtained at the Tryon Theatre or by mail at : Tryon Theatre P.O.Box 273 Tryon, NC 28782 Members receive a monthly newsletter announcing the schedule for the upcoming month and receive $1 off the regular admission price.
