The
Tryon Theatre is an independently owned and operated movie theater located at 45 South Trade Street in historic Tryon, North Carolina. Opened in the early 1930's the Tryon Theatre has continued to serve the Tryon-Landrum-Columbus area with first run movies on a weekly basis. Showtimes are on
Wednesday through Saturday at 8:00 PM with a matinee on Sunday at 3:00 PM. On the second and fourth Mondays and Tuesdays of the month the theatre shows art-speciality films (foreign, docomentaries, etc.) in association with The Tryon Film Society. The Film Society shows begin at 7:00 PM .
The
Tryon Theatre offers a full line of movie concessions for your enjoyment as well as featuring gourmet coffee from the
Little River Roasting Company. A wide selection of cold beer, domestic and premium, is sold in the balcony, which is equipped with electrostatic air purifiers to accomodate smoking.
Ticket prices at the Tryon Theatre range from $6.00 for evening shows to $5.00 for the Sunday matinees for all customers.
